The Purification Lodge December 15th, 2009

The Lodge is a healing place where we bring our prayers to be sent to Our Creator, The Great Mystery of the Universe. It is a sacred place where we exercise humility and loving support. Coming into the lodge symbolizes the return to the safety of the womb of our Mother. The Lodge is the Womb of our Mother the Earth. When preparing for the Inipi Ceremony, (purification ceremony) physical and Spiritual preparation are the two main areas where we can help in order to manifest an experience worth of blessings for us and for the entire Circle. It is extremely important to work on our cardiovascular endurance as well as our daily prayers and meditation, weeks in advance, prior to participating in this ancient tradition. Let’s remember that a CLEAN BODY + CLEAR MIND = CONFIDENT SPIRIT.

Responsibility also includes approaching this ancient medicine as close to tradition as possible, therefore women on their moon, must abstain completely. Men wear comfortable shorts, and women wear cool comfortable clothing (covering most of the body ). Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Aho! Note: We are asking those who are coming to gather with us at Estacion Armonia, if it is within your possibilities, to bring an old blanket as a donation to cover Our Lodge. We are planning to rebuild the lodge on Saturday December 12. Please let us know if you would like to participate as only 20 people are able to participate due to space restrictions.
